







Gladys Russel Wildlife Refuge

While Gladys Russell is a wildlife preserve with excellent opportunities for bird watching, it also offers a number of uses, including hiking, picnicking, horseback riding, and fishing. This popular park is a favored destination for small weddings, family reunions and other events. The barn and shelter are available for reservations.
Located in west central Dearborn County (Manchester Township), Gladys Russell Wildlife refuge offers 148 acres with over four miles of walking/riding trails, a six-acre lake for fishing, and a large meeting shelter with bathrooms. Anglers with an Indiana State fishing license may fish in the lake, which has a handicapped accessible dock.
